Here is a great powder bowl or dresser bowl from the 1940's. It is made out of glass and has a clear elephant on it that has his trunk up in the air, which is a sign of good luck. It is in excellent shape with no cracks or chips. It stands about 5" tall and is 4" across.

This little French Opaline Patch box is in very good shape with no cracks or chips, however, I think part of the front latch is missing as it does not shut all the way and feels rough on the tip of the brass. This beautiful Epergne holds two cornucopia shaped vases and a bowl/ dish on the bottom. The Ormolu is in great shape with a butterfly towering over the top. The deep turquoise glass is painted with enamel in small flowers of pastel colors. This antique piece has a few small faults. It is hard to see, but in the pictures of the two vases on the right one at the one o'clock position is a sliver chip underneath the edge of the glass. This is a dresser jar made from between 1850-1885. It has a copper with Champleve enameled decorated top. It looks as though a gold color paint was painted onto the copper top. The metal that you can see between the Champleve filigree decoration on top is greenish as copper gets with age. The enamel is very pretty. There is some slight wear to the enamel, and a bit of gold color paint is on the edge of the beautiful and ornate Champleve. French Champleve enameled items were made from 1850-1885. ...

Lovely cut glass inkwell from 1880-1900. I believe the metal is brass. The inkwell is in very good condition with just slight wear to the top of the inkwell where the lid is lifted with the ring. This is a beautiful and elegant box made from Hoffman's glass house in Czechoslovakia in the 1920's and 30's. This box is 3" by 2" by 1 1/2" tall. There is an etched Cherub on the front. It is clean and classy looking. The logo butterfly, which meant Hoffman himself etched it, does not appear to be on this piece. It had an old paper label on it that said "made in Czechoslovakia", but it was dingy and I tore it off (well it took more than tearing) but I was thinking there would be an acid etched mark on the bottom but...there wasn't one. A lovely and perfect jewelry box or what was called a dresser box made with cut glass. It is large and heavy. It is over 100 years old. I see no problems with it. It has a strong hinge. Some wear around the metal ring in the center but all in all just a wonderful dresser box or jewelry casket. It is 7" wide and 3 1/2" tall. I see no chips or cracks. There is some scratches on the bottom. The bottom of this vanity box is a large star burst design.

Here is a beautiful cut glass ink well. It is in excellent shape and the crystal is in exceptional clear condition. The cut glass is in a cane pattern and in my book it says this is from 1890-1900. I see no chips or cracks of any kind. Very nice. It is 4 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" deep and 4" tall at the highest point of the ink well. The pattern of cut glass is the same as in the perfume / scent bottle that is in the last picture, and also from the same period.

In molded glass is this old inkwell from Japan. It has Japan molded in the glass. It is a brown glass with enameled flowers on it. It is in very good condition but has ink stains in it. I did not try to clean it out. It is 3 1/4" tall by 2" across the base. No chips or cracks. Circa 1910.
