Magnificent Limoges Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Hand Painted with Yellow, Purple and Salmon Roses ~ Elite / Bawo & Dotter 1900 only

This plate is absolutely breathtaking and truly a piece of art. I’m wondering why the artist did not sign this, it is just unbelievable. He has painted a fully bloomed yellow rose with a center that is so three dimensional it is phenomenal. He adds two light purple roses with white raised enamel accents on the petals. One of them is partially opened and the other one has a tighter bud emerging. Around the roses he has painted various colors of green leaves, with some giving a shadowy effect and placed them on brown and green thorn stems. On one side he has placed salmon colored roses beneath the green leaves and brown steams giving the design depth and a realistic look. He has placed his design on an ornate scalloped, gold trimmed and accented blank. He has a soft green background around the edges between the gold scroll work and soft muted colors for the remainder of the plate. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. This definitely would be an asset to any Limoges collection!
