AWESOME Plate / Wall Plaque by Doulton Burslem, Bone China , Gold Gilded, Aquamarine with Cobalt Scroll Design– Doulton Burslem 1886 - 1902

This is a magnificent antique wall plaque. It has a scalloped gold trimmed edge. The artist has applied 2 1/8” of a beautiful aquamarine color to the outside portion of the plate. On this color is an abundance of gold gilt in scrolling designs. Six of the larger designs are filled with a beautiful cobalt blue color. A gold ring with another gold designs outlines the brilliant white center of this piece. I can’t imagine a whole table setting of this design it would be breathtaking. Plate is in exceptional condition, no cracks, chips or crazing.

Backstamp: Crown with Doulton Burslem in Doultons well known design, England is under mark. Dates 1886 - 1902, RA1585 is in blue

Plate measures: 10 ¼”
