This is an elaborately decorated and quite stunning plate. The artist has used an abundance of bright colors making the plate literally come alive. On this plate is the artist’s rendition of snowball flowers. He has accented the stems going into the white delicate flowers with a deep burgundy color which makes the white stand out brilliantly. In the center of the white flowers he has applied an occasional green center which seems to pull out that particular little flower. Green leaves and stems helps give the feel of a live snow ball bush loaded with flowers. He has placed these flowers on a background of deep rust, gold and yellows. On one side of the plate it almost looks like the colors are all blended together as if the wind swirled around and mixed it all. French Studio professional artist ‘T. LUC' has signed this plate. Luc is a listed French porcelain artist, who is referenced in the current Limoges book “Mary Gaston's 'Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain', 3rd Edition”. This plate is in exceptional condition and is a beautiful piece of art. It has no chips or cracks. VERY RARE TRIPLE BACKSTAMP!!
