Unique Limoges Porcelain Ash Receiver Hand Painted with Pine Cones ~ PL Limoges ~ Artist Initialed & Dated ~ L. Porcelaine Limouisine 1915

This is a beautiful ash receiver made for use in the smoking palor intented for cigars. It is square in shape but each side is pinched in giving it an ‘X’ design. The artist has painted beautiful deep brown pine cones with forest green needles on each side of the ashtray. He has connected the groups with branches and needles. The top has a gold rim and has indentions for the cigars and a star shaped gold trimmed opening for the ashes. The artist initials ‘E P or possible O’ and date of 1915 are on the bottom. This piece is in excellent condition with not cracks, chips or crazing.
