This is a remarkable piece of artwork, hand painted by an unknown factory artist, but is done with masterful talent to rank along with Duval, Luc and Dubois! The artist has painted a wonderful rendition of purple grape clusters making each cluster just a shade different than the others. She has added wonderful variegated green and brown leaves amongst the grapes. A few of the leaves are just an outline of blue with the remainder being different shades of white and blue. These few leaves make this tray a very unique looking piece. Green and brown vines and steams are intertwined throughout the grapes and leaves giving it a very realistic look. She has placed the grapes motif on a background of deep green, pastels of purple and blue and white color. Light green is on the outside of the 1” wide rim and gold has been painted on the inside which completes this wonderful piece of art! There are no chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
