This beautiful set was painted by “L Dickman”. She has chosen choice pieces from three great German porcelain makers that complement each other and has made a wonderful display grouping. The artist has used a deep brown color around the upper rims and handles which blends down into a beige, blue yellow and green background. She has painted wonderful full bloomed brown centered, yellow roses and buds with green and brown leaves and stems on the body of the pieces. She has accented the rose petals by leaving the original white background show through giving the petals form and depth. On the leaves and stems she has added a deeper color bringing out the veins on the leaves and the thorns on the stems. The little gold handled creamer and sugar have gold rims and a pearl luster on the inside. Apparently she painted these at a different time. We didn’t want to split up the sets due to the fact that the same artist painted all the pieces. Every inch of these piece have been had painted even the underside of the trays rim. This set shows wonderful talent from an unknown porcelain painter. We are limited to 9 pictures so if you would like additional shots please let us know and we will email you more. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
