This outstanding dish has a design done in the 'mixtion method' china painting which is a combination of hand decorated and hand painted artwork. The transfer is of pink delicate flowers and blue-gray with brown foliage. Yellow enamel paint has been applied to the center of the pink flowers. One large floral has been placed along one side and a couple small ones placed opposite to balance it all out. Dish has a gold painted rim. The design has been done on Rosenthal’s beautifully scalloped China mold called ‘Louis XVI’. Dish is in excellent condition and just a joy to behold.
