GORGEOUS Limoges JAR or Powder Box,Trinket Box with Gold Knob Handle, Hand Painted with Soft Pink Roses, Artist Signed– Limoges France ca 1881

This is an exceptional piece of Limoges! The artist has painted delicate pink roses and greenery around the rim of the lid and the top of the base. The two patterns of roses tie the pieces together beautifully. The lid has a gold knob making it easy to remove and adding a touch of class to the whole piece. The inside of the rim has a rough area but it appears to have been made that way. The box is in excellent condition. Artist signature on bottom.

Backstamp: Mark6, Limoges over France with no line in between used after 1881

Box Measures: 3 1/2T X 4 1/4" W
