GORGEOUS BOOTH VEGETABLE TUREEN OR COVERED DISH. Vegetable tureen is decorated with a circle of vibrant green leaves on a brilliant white background around the edge of the lid and the top of the bowl. Gold gilt is on the edge of the tureen and the handles. This tureen is stamped on the bottom with BOOTHS backstamp and is ca. 1906. Pattern name is “WREATH”. This little pair would look wonderful decorating a bathroom!! The bulbous base of the pitcher and holder has raised relief in bamboo design with smooth finish on the upper portions. Of all the beautiful porcelain tureens I’ve seen this old ironstone one caught my eye. There is just something about an old piece like this that makes it special. It is plainly decorated with a dark olive green Greek key design around the rim and the upper edge of the bowl.
