This bowl is not marked but it is unmistakably Austria or German, the handpainted zinnias I think are simply beautiful. This shallow bowl was in one of those metal springing hanging brackets and so I did not notice that there are two chips to it, they are on the pointed ends of the patterned ruffled edge so you don't note them until flipping the bowl over, but they are there I have tried to picture them you can see it surely does not detract from the display of this piece. The intricate edge pattern hides the small damages. Still a beautiful bowl and I could not bring myself to throw it out.
