Vallerysthal in France made this delight blue milk glass covered jar. 6 in. tall with figural grapes and leaves. Could be used as a candy dish, jam jar, or as a dresser or vanity dish. Sturdy, heavy piece. Nearly perfect, inner lip of top has a little roughness, might call these 3 tiny flea bites. Shown in Collector's Encyclopedia of Milk Glass.

Fun papier mache Easter rabbit with a pack on his back, which is a candy container. This guy has richly detailed molding. Not marked, but believe he is German. 8.5 inches tall. Powder blue back and ears, pink eyes, Light yellow on feet and part of basket. This detail suggests 1920s or early 30s vintage. He'd look cute on a buffet or table! Very good condition, 1/2 in. tight fissure on pack, light paint loss. Will ship carefully.

Staffordshire plate in lovely flow mulberry by Enoch Wood & Sons. This plate is part of the Castles series, this pattern known as Rubens. English, made mid-19th century. 7 1/2 in. diameter. EXC restored condition. Professional repair to 1/4 in. rim chip, satisfaction guaranteed. Backside of plate has light staining.

Lovely scenic hatpin holder depicting a cottage near a pond where swan is swimming, and cherry tree blooms. This poreclain vanity item stands 5.5 in. tall, 10 small and one lg opening for hat pins. Imperial Nippon mark as shown in Van Patten's guide as Mark 38. Reads: Imperial Nippon Handpainted. Authentic period item made between 1880s and 1918. Excellent condition, no nicks or hairlines. Light wear to gilding.

Lovely and unusual English plate dates to circa 1880s. Features Asiatic pheasant surrounded by roses or peonies. Transfer outlines, handpainted enameled colors are vibrant as the day this item was made. Made by S.Fielding & Co. which later became Royal Crown. This pattern is known as Old Bow, the body is creamware a semi-porcelain. 7 in. across, gilded rim. EXC: One tiny glaze pop on rim. Great display piece.

Silver love knot hatpin measures 7 1/4 in. overall, bauble 5/8 in. wide. I'm calling this pin sterling even though it is unmarked, as it has the fineness of sterling with no evidence of plating. Believe even the shank is sterling silver. Excellent condition, shank is a bit crooked.

Not marked, indicating early Nippon, dates to c.1870s or 1880s. Lovely piece could also be used as a hatpin holder. 4 in. tall, 3.5 in. across at shoulder. Guaranteed period piece.
