Nice old country basket stands 16 in. tall, opening 13x13 in. This item dates to about 1900-1910. Sturdy work basket used for harvesting, gathering or going to market. Kicked-in or recessed bottom makes this design extra-strong. 24 ash splints. Dark strip around middle of form. Very good condition, moderate soil as would be expected.
