Personally, I LOVE them.

I think they are so evocative of their era and so reminiscent of the old masters’ paintings.

Here we have a rather remarkable stylized scenic in that it is primarily done in bright shades of pink.

While the other colors are bright and striking, it is the pink and black combination that really hits you.

Depicting a quaint farm house in harvest shades, the purse also displays birch trees shedding their black and white bark in the anticipation of winter.

We also see the last bloom of summer, done in the wonderful pinks described above, surrounding the old dirt path leading to the farmhouse.

The sky is blue with the last breath of summer and the birches leaves are turning yellow as the evergreen pine stands in the background.

There are no notable flaws in this purse. There are no holes, missing or loose beads. The purse is securely attached to the frame which snaps shut securely and the fringe is all present and perfect.

NOW….for the frame! Extremely eye-catching adorned with pink oval cabochons, white enameled flowers and Greek key designs as well as cut ruby red bezel set stones

.The Clasp is outstanding or should I say UP standing. A large fan shaped standup with large oval mottled pink cabochon surrounded on either side by more ruby red stones.

The lining has been restored in a charming pinky-beige shade that so perfectly compliments the purse.

Era – Early 20th Century

Wearability Condition – Certainly can be carried but should only be used on special occasions due to delicacy and historical value.

Display Condition – Excellent
