Here is a vintage purse that is totally in style today, as it will be tomorrow.

Made in France by Bernard Nerson, Paris for David's Palm Beach.

David's Palm Beach, no longer in existence, was an extremely popular shop for the Palm Beach elite (think Kennedy, Pulitzer, etc.)

This lovely purse is in a woven style so popular today. It is constructed of tightly woven gold and silver metallic thread.

In the classic style, it has two outer pockets that form the exterior and an interior with a clasp.

The strap is of the same material and woven down through loops along the side of the purse.

The exterior is still bright and I see no flaws

The creamy golden interior is clean as well, both inner and outer pockets.

Stamped "bernard nerson paris" and "Made in France" on one side and "David's Palm Beach" and Made in France" on the other side of the inner purse.

Measuring 7 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches tall with a depth of around 2 inches when expanded.

Double strap has a 14 inch drop.

This purse is practical as well as a gorgeous piece of arm candy

Era: Late 1950's - Early 1960's
