Exquisite Vintage - Antique French Rhinestone Purse

Exquisite, brilliant, glamorous, splendid. These are all adjectives that could be used to describe this wonderful purse!

Made in France, as per the interior tag, the front of the purse is covered in a design of rhinestones and what looks like chrysophase or jade to me but could be milky green glass.

There are no stones missing and all are clear and sparkling as new. It truly is amazing.

The back of this lovely purse is covered in pristine gold brocade fabric.

It snaps open to reveal an interior in excellent condition with only the very slightest signs of use.

The purse measures 5 3/4 by 3 1/2 with a chain for holding. It opens to reveal a mirror fastened to the inside and also a small removable mirror and a change purse.

The original box has an inset perfectly fitting this purse. The exterior of the box is rather tattered from age and the velvet interior of the box does show age. It looks like a jeweler's box to me.

That doesn't surprise me at all as this purse is like a piece of jewelry.

Wearability Condition: Very good due to some slight discoloration of the interior. Exterior is beyond Excellent. This is one I would save for very SPECIAL occasions!
