Oooohhh, this is one of my very, very favorite Mandalians, although I have several that I just love.

This one is so gorgeous in it's elegant simplicity! No hanging fringe or drops. Just a simple, beautiful purse of graceful lotus flowers on vinelike stems.

Each flower is done in lovely shades of violet and mauve and the leaves and stems are in complimentary shades of green. All this on a bright yellow background.

I have never seen this design or color scheme before in a Mandalian. As I said, it is simple, elegant, stunning and unusual all at the same time.

Ok, the nitty gritty:

The enamel is excellent, as in shiny, bright and none missing. The mesh is excellent, as in no gaps, no holes. The frame is straight and closes securely.

It is pretty perfect with the only exception being that the silver frame is showing some wear.

Now I'd say that's pretty good for a purse almost 100 yrs old!!

This delicate and dainty beauty measures not quite 3 1/4 by 5 3/4 inches.
