One of the largest Petit Point purses I’ve seen, this purse has an amazing design of animals and foliage.

Done in a monochromatic color scheme of tans and grays on black, this lovely purse depicts a squirrel with an acorn, a hare, a bird, a goose and another animal I can’t identify.

All these animals are set among different flowers and leaves of the woodland.

Not only is the purse amazing but the frame is amazing as well.

Stamped “Made in France” on both hinges, this gorgeous silver metal frame has acquired the perfect patina.

Using a combination of repousse and chasing, as well as cut-out, the artist depicts a variety of birds with gorgeous plumage abounding.

The body of the purse is in fine condition with no holes or damage or stains to note.

The lining is original and therefore somewhat discolored but not badly. It is done in a golden fabric with a ruched pocket and is not deteriorated in the least.

This LARGE petit point measures 8” across the frame, 9” across the widest part of the body and 9” from top to bottom. It has a depth of ¾”
