A most unusual and rare early period 19th century mahogany Duncan Phyfe style rocking chair with carved dolphin arm rests, stylized back splat, rolling crest rail, vintage upholstery with numerous re-upholstery nail holes. This chair has the original springs, burlap webbing and straw cushioning (slightly a miss however all original) this rare and unusual piece would make a great gift or addition to any fine household or collection.

SIZE: 34" height x 27 1/2" width x 28" length. CONDITION: Normal wear for age (see images), overall very good.
