19th Century Victorian Girl Sculpture Statue Marble Bust Pedestal Woman Lady Alabaster Rose 19c Carved

In high relief carved alabaster bust of a pretty girl with her hair up in a bun, rose adorned lace night gown complementing the sensual lines of her beautiful face. With such stunning detail one can not help but want to say hello to her and ask her for her name. There is some minor damage to the top of the pedestal (hardly noticeable), a time crack across the right breast and the v of the neck down her back. Keep in mind a time crack is the appearance of natural stress fissures in the piece. It was never dropped nor was the head was never lopped off and repaired. We could not find a name or mark, however this piece is truly the work of a highly skilled craftsman and would make a wonderful addition to any fine household or collection. The sculpture is 23 inch high, 17 inches wide and 11 deep and is being offered with the original 41 inch columnar marble pedestal you see in the last image.
