This is a really wonderful suit from the mid to late 40s. It is an absolutely gorgeous fawn color in a smooth wool gabardine. It has amazing details including and angular collar and pointed flap pocket with button embellishment. The jacket buttons up the front with the same stitched fabric buttons. It is fully lined in peach crepe and has large shoulder pads for that perfect 40s silhouette. The skirt has a side metal zipper and button closure. The skirt has two kick pleats at the front of skirt. This is a very well made vintage suit with lovely details and is in impeccable condition. It has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to wear. .
