Fall Leaf Vintage 40s Copper Rayon Cocktail Party Dress Sequin Appliques Gathered Draping M L

I absolutely ADORE the color of this amazing late 40s dress. It is made from a medium weight flowing rayon in a lovely copper shade. The bodice has exquisite workmanship with draped pleats that come together at a seam where the draping is further enhanced with a copper sequin & brown metallic bugle bead leaf applique. The skirt is two layers with the top layer being slightly shorter and has pleats draped and gathered into another leaf applique. It really is so flattering and has wonderful movement. The dress has short sleeves, a short metal zipper at the back of the neck and a side metal zipper. It comes with its original self fabric belt.

Bust 40", Waist 32", Drop to Waist 18", Hips 44", Length 51". Shoulder Seam to Seam 17".

Era: Late 1940s.

Condition: Excellent. The only thing I could find to note is a bit of dinginess and some wear to the belt buckle. It is not overly noticeable when worn.

This set has not been dry cleaned by me.
