50s Vintage Brown Rayon Faille Wiggle Dress & Hourglass Jacket Copper Sequins & Beads Medium

This dress & jacket set is truly drool-worthy! The fitted dress is made of a lovely chocolate brown iridescent rayon faille. It has a sexy sweetheart neckline that is trimmed in copper sequins and beads. The back of the skirt features fishtail pleating. It has a rear metal zipper and hook & eye closures. The matching jacket has an hourglass cut with shoulder pads and a nipped in waist. It buttons down the front with five fabric covered buttons. (Please note, one of the original buttons was missing. I cut a small square of fabric from an inside seam and covered a button to match. See photo.) It also features cute pockets that hit right where the jacket flairs out at the bottom. The collar of the jacket features sequins and beads that match the dress. Both pieces are unlined.

Condition: Excellent. Besides the replaced button, I did notice that a few of the sequins have a bit of color rubbed off. This does not attract from this set in the least.

This outfit has not been dry cleaned. I recommend that all vintage clothing be cleaned before wearing.
