This dress really epitomizes the 60s cocktail scene. The fabric is a medium weight black rayon crepe. The body of the dress is a fitted sheath with a back metal zipper. Attached to this at the neck and the shoulder is an overlay in more of a tent or flare cut. The overlay drapes across the back and attaches at the shoulder with hook & eye closure. It is highlighted with a bow. The best part is a band of black & white feathers near the hem of the overlay. Truly striking! I think the dress looks great cinched in with a wide belt (shown but not included).
