It shows The Marquis De Lafayette signing secret documents concerning his enlistment in the American Army with an American Agent looking on. It is an important part of our history. There is an interesting trim around the plate depicting drums horns and riffles which is better explained in the paper work. We have the original box with all the original documents certifing the originality of the plate.

We are offering a pretty cup and saucer. The cup measures 3 3/4 and the saucer 5 1/2. The cup and saucer have an all over floral design in soft pastels of green lavender and blue. The design also encircles the outside of the cup. The set has a gold scalloped rim on the cup and saucer. The set is in excellent condition. It is marked Tuscan fine bone China made in England. The Tuscan Co. is part of the Wedgewood Group.

We are offering for sale 2 unique apothecary jars from the Coast Guard Cutter Sebago. They were found in a sealed hold of the ship in 1971 when the ship was decommissioned. One is for bandages and one cotton. They both have the original oval labels from the A.S. Aloe Co. There is some very slight roughness to the bottom of the lids but the jars and lids are in exceptional condition for their age. The glass is clear and the labels have no marks or scratches.
