Antique Limoges France Hand Painted Wonderful Jardinière with Pastel Roses front to back. ~Museum Quality~ This gorgeous piece stands tall at 9" with a 8 1/2" opening and 36 1/2" in circumference.. This is dripping with applied gold around the top part of the Jardinière with a wide gold band. The roses are executed well in soft pastels multi colors of pale tones against a creamy background to accent the roses.. then there are leaves and stems with thorns which add the realistic look to this piece, finally they finished it off with a wonderful high gloss glaze to make it sparkle, shine and stand out in your display.. Sale is for the Jardiniere only. Damage free and little to no wear to the gold. A remarkable piece.. Marked with the D&C Mark, In 1860 R. Délinieres and P. Guery opened the La Taupiniere porcelain factory on Rue Albert Thomas in Limoges. In 1879 R. Délinieres became director, and in 1881 they first began decorating some of their porcelain's.

The factory was sold to Leonard Bernardaud in 1900 and became Bernardaud & Cie.
