A true Antique at it's Best! This Magnificent Huge Squat Vase is done in fabulous big beautiful Roses front to back and is signed by France Studios. The following is stated on Page 262 of The Collectors Encyclopedia Of Pickard..... "Robert W. France formed the France Studios in 1906. His designs were largely conservative, but the quality of his work is among the best of that period. He produced most of the studio's output himself & did not sign his work, electing to hand-letter France, Robert W. France Or France Studios on the base of his work." Standing 7" tall and a Huge 14" wide with 40 1/2" in Circumference makes this a remarkable huge piece.. You need to get your tape out and measure as you won't believe how large this is... This is marked Vienna Austria, you would think it was a Limoges Blank as Limoges makes this same blank. It is in Excellent condition with no damage or repairs, there is some gold wear associated with age. This would be a great piece to add to your Limoges Antique Porcelain Collection..
