Antique Limoges France Jardinière with separate base. Hand painted Morning Glory. A magnificent set.. This Huge Jardiniere stands 11 1/2" tall - opening is 9" and 15" handle to handle.. This is got Lion head handles with a Antique creamy glaze color on both the Lion heads and paw foot original base which is a really nice compliment to the set.. . A gorgeous unusual painted set.. lots of gold. minimal wear associated with age and some staining inside the bowl which would be normal for the age of the piece... D&C France mark 3, which dates it 1894-1900.. In 1860 R. Délinieres and P. Guery opened the La Taupiniere porcelain factory on Rue Albert Thomas in Limoges. In 1879 R. Délinieres became director, and in 1881 they first began decorating some of their porcelains.

The factory was sold to Leonard Bernardaud in 1900 and became Bernardaud & Cie.

A truly magnificent set. These 2 piece sets are becoming harder to find and with the quality of the painting and unusual subject matter.. Damage free. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have... Layaway available upon request..!~
