The ancient Egyptians held that the heart was the center of consciousness and of life itself. Viewed as the source of human wisdom, memory and emotions, this universal icon in the shape of a romantic heart is made of sterling silver.

Large and generous in its size as well as in its symbolism for love, this double sided heart locket can hold both a memory and a photo in each of its two compartments complete with removable silver rims. Sleek in looks and smooth to the touch, nothing can interfere with its clear intentions.

Condition: Very good; one small indent on one side which we were unable to capture in photographs; small rubbing in corner area of interior; one plastic interior covering is missing that can be replace if desired.

Hallmarks: “Sterling”

Measurements: 2-1/16 inches (5.2 cm) in length including top bale and 2 inches (5.1 cm) without by 1-3/4 inches (3.5 cm) in width by 1/8 of an inch (0.4 cm) in thickness. Has a weight of 24.6 grams (15.8 dwt).
