Green Barton Ceramics Planter

$25 USD Offers ConsideredGreen Barton Ceramics Planter

Pottery:Planter
This is a heavy green planter in a nice wave form, forest green glaze, similar in heft and style to 1950's or earlier American pottery. There is a faint imprint in the mold that seems to say "Barton Ceramics". Very clean and in like-new condition, with no soil marks inside and no crazing. Measurements: 6.5" long and 4" tall, 4.5" deep.
Large Blue And Yellow Vase

$195 USD Offers ConsideredLarge Blue And Yellow Vase

Pottery:Vase
Old yellow and blue vase with roses, high gloss, some crazing, otherwise perfect condition, pre-WWII, has number "362" in the mold of the bottom, but no maker's mark. Looks very similar to some MIJ Japanese vases. Measurements: 10.5" tall and 8.5" across widest point.
Vintage Goose Planter, Handmade

$35 USD Offers ConsideredVintage Goose Planter, Handmade

Pottery:Planter
You'll notice I have two of these listed, and they were made by different artisans. The eyes show the difference. I think these are made by ceramicists who used molds. They'd make a nice pair so I will ship them for one price if you want both. Just notify me ahead of time so I can remove the shipping charge from the second one. Measurements: about 5" tall and 4" long

Peacock Japanese Vase, Gold Mark, Very Fine

$157 USD Offers ConsideredPeacock Japanese Vase, Gold Mark, Very Fine

Pottery:Vase:Japan
This is a marvelous vintage vase from Japan that has the gold kanji mark with "japan" on the bottom, and wonderful rich detail in the peacock's feathers and in all of the fine lines. This dates from the 1970's. It is a flattened oval shape that can ad grace and dignity to any setting. There is slight crazing as shows in the close-up, but no damage, chips, cracks at all. It is in perfect condition.
Capodimonte Cherub or Putti Box

$350 USD Offers ConsideredCapodimonte Cherub or Putti Box

Pottery:Capodimonte
This is a very old vanity box. The lid has been repaired, but hardly shows it. Really wonderful and unusual piece!
Very Old MIJ Japan Vase or Urn, Handpainted Red and Purple Grapes, Green Leaves, Tan w/Gold Mo

$550 USD Offers ConsideredVery Old MIJ Japan Vase or Urn, Handpainted Red and Purple Grapes, Green Leaves, Tan w/Gold Moriage

Pottery:Vase
Large, very old hand-thrown vase, hand-painted design, pre-WWI. It was hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, not molded. The bottom is attached and there is no mark. There is a bit of moriage under the old gold paint and the grapes are hand-painted over a cloudy mauve finish with a matte glaze. I saw one on the Antiques-Roadshow program that had a very similar collar and base but was covered over with beads of coralene glaze, and it was much older. I wish I could be sure enough of this one to say it ...
