Beyond anything else, it is our desire to build lasting relationships through good service to our customers. We will respond to all inquiries and orders within 24 hours and will work hard to make this one of the finest buying experiences you have had on the Internet. I ship orders out once a week, except when requested to expedite service or during the holidays. If you have a special need, please let us know. My psychic ability has gone out the window with middle age--I am hoping it returns soon as I have a difficult time getting along with it. Until that time, if you have a special mailing need, please tell me straight up!

All items come to you clean and in excellent condition,and ALL the flaws are noted in the description. We have full disclosure on all items. Items come from our smoke free home to yours.

Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and insurance. Insurance MUST be requested by the buyer. Seller WILL NOT insure a product if it is not requested and if insurance is not added to the invoice.
I do require DELIVERY CONFIRMATION on ALL packages. If you have concerns about the security of your delivery site you can pay for insurance. Just let me know. I am not liable for uninsured packages. If you do not receive the contents of the package or if you do not receive the package itself once it is sent, seller is NOT liable and there can be NO REFUND. This is active as of 9-15-06.

Restocking Fee:
We charge a 15% restocking fee on all items returned.

Other Information:
Other things you should know about money matters-

All monetary amounts listed are in United States Dollars. USD.

California residents will be charged current state sales tax beyond item sales price, shipping , handling and insurance. Rate at this time is 10 %.

Customers outside of the Continental U.S. will be charged full shipping costs and must buy insurance. Payment must be in U.S. dollar amount through money order or through Paypal. I will probably turn down payments through Paypal for partials payments on multiple cards. Don't have any hard feelings about this. No personal checks nor cash will be accepted on out of the country orders.

DHL shipping or USPS Global Priority will be used with the item and the minimum cost of shipping will be 30.00. The out of the country buyer is responsible for paying VAT and customs. If you choose to not pay for these, then do not order. If you want a refund, the item MUST be returned to me in the condition it was sent to you prior to me granting a refund. If it is returned damaged, a refund will not be issued and Paypal will be notified.

Cashiers checks , money orders or any other form of monies that are written for greater than the amount asked for in the purchase order will be sent back to the purchaser without being cashed. That means, if you do this, not only will I not cash your check, but you will not receive the merchandise. I will attempt to email you that you have been denied the purchase so if you do not get the money order back due to a mail fluke, keep your receipt and a copy of my email for your refund. Unless you are a part of a scam, why would you EVER send an amount larger than requested by the bill of sale and then ask for the change to be sent somewhere else.

Also, I will hold checks and money orders until they clear the bank. I do not send post haste. If you need an item immediately and need it sent out immediately, you need to let me know and then pay by Paypal, which protects the cars holder and myself. Money orders are always the slow way to go.

Payment for product MUST be received by seller within ten (10) working days from the day of the purchase order. If payment is not received, it will be assumed that the item is being abandoned and it will be put back in active stock for resale.

Items will be held for one week. If payment or arrangements are not made within this time, the item will be re-listed for sale.
