Wise Old man? Sage? Shaman? This one inch (1") miniature statuette is exquisite. It came from an estate lot and was almost overlooked. It is the figure of an older man crouching down with his hands near his lips. The detail is phenomenal and the pictures do not do the original justice. The folds of the robe as it hangs over the body of the figure are articulate and detailed. The detail in the face, hands, and clothing are beyond compare. It is placed in a bronze holder for wearing. Perhaps a talisman of good luck, or maybe just a reminder of home being close to the heart, this bronze work is a must have for collectors.
