This Diminutive Pill box with mini mosaic top is in excellent vintage condition. No tessare is missing from the top. A yellow tiled background serves as the backdrop for three flowers; poppy red and black, orange and apricot and pink, with their respective leaves. A touch of black and white checkerboard provides a frame for it and balances out this work of art to the eye. Fountains and flowers surround the sides of the repousse on the piece. The bottom of the box has lost a bit of its gold plated but the sides and top are intact . Measures 3” x 3”. Signed Italy.
