This is an incredibly beautiful antique hand painted VICTORIAN BROOCH PIN and antique hand painted LIMOGES PIN DISH with a delightful garland of 'RUBY ROSES & ROSEBUDS' decorating its oval porcelain face. This circa 1890s china painting of roses was handmade by an American Victorian china artist, and is not a mass produced pin made by a factory. It is 'one-of-a-kind' and dates to the Late Victorian period, which makes it about 110 years old. It is in excellent condition, with a functioning antique brass back clasp and antique brass cameo back plate. It is a large size oval porcelain brooch pin which measures 2-1/2" x 2". .

The matching antique hand-painted Limoges 'Ruby Roses Roses Pin Tray or Pin Dish', as seen in these photos is hand dated '1905' and is signed by its artist with the initials: 'S.U."
