Original boxes of shiny goldtone, 3 ewer-shaped bottles of Germaine Monteil fragrance launched in 1941 (so was the Baba) and discontinued in 1949. The fragrance was renamed Rigolade, which has something to do with pleasure I think. From the boudoir of a premier packrat, well preserved and MIB. The two box-mates of sherry-colored wonder is the bath oil and the amber-colored single bottle is 2 fluid ounces. The caps are plain white plastic but we have not tested for Bakelite. This was the first perfume of Germaine Monteil who was born in France and came to America in the 1920s. A virtual time capsule from the boudoir of a premier packrat. The original tissue paper is even in this box. A wonderful gift set for the collector.
