A wonderful whopping 2-1/2 inches across in measurement is this old 3-dimensional brooch. All stones are present and have an aurora borealis glaze. This piece is unsigned and all stones are pronged. To me it looks like a snowflake and it is lightweight but very well made. The sparkle rocks the room.

Spider-like with glistening tentacles is this unusual ornament we have from an estate. It measures 5 inches across and is raised as if to fit a bowl shape. Pins have been added to the underside but we think it was meant to be sewn on a coat or hat. It glitters mightily and the estate owner passed away decades ago. We hope to find this item a new home.

Lovely old bottle with th4e familiar exotic label of the flamenco dancer. We cannot tell whether this is perfume, cologne or eau de toilette. The bottom of the bottle is stamped Myrurgia, the famous Spanish perfume makers. The fragrance was first launched in 1918b and then reintroduced in 1945. It has been described as a citrusy spice. 3 inches high, 5-1/2 inches in circumference are the bottle measurements. The contents have a pleasant fragrance but are probably degraded.

The label on the bottom of the bottle is intact and is marked NY, NY. We do not have much information at all about this manufacturer.

White with red lettering, marked No. 2-1/2 beige and accompanied by the original paper instructions which we include. The art work suggests 1930-1940s. Measures 4 inches across. From a treasure trove of a boudoir where milady saved everything and did so in a warm, clean, dry climate.

We are still unpacking these boxes from the boudoir of one fabulous woman who saved everything with a good climate control. This is Harriet Hubbard Ayer cologne called Golden Chance. Original box in good condition with colors of pink and blue with a large bow logo. The bottle looks full, perhaps evaporated a bit. 1-1/2 fluid ounces. I believe this item dates 1947-1949. Bottle looks Art Deco in shape with a pristine label and plastic cap.

Originally 8 fluid ounces of Bouquet Cologne but now more than half empty probably from evaporation. Ensconced in a beige cylindrical box with soilage of age. I cannot document the year this fragrance was launched even in the Jones-North exquisite reference book, "Commercial Perfume Bottles." The bottle is 6 inches high and measures 8 inches in circumference. From the boudoir of a premier packrat, quite a nice find. The bottle is plain clear glass and the cap is goldtone with the GD logo.
