Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for actual shipping and insurance. You can be confident your item will reach you in the same fine condition in which it was shipped. We ship within 24 hours following payment by money order or thru Paypal. Personal checks must clear, 10-14 days. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE USE PAYPAL. Paypal payments must have a CONFIRMED address, thanks.

We offer a convenient, flexible layaway plan for purchases of $200 or more. A 20% deposit is requested for purchases totaling more than $200. Please email us with your specific layaway requests and we will do our best to tailor a plan just for you. All layaway payments must be made with a bank check, money order, or personal check. Items are shipped when the layaway is paid in full.
We are happy to offer payment plans for our buyers. Please note that layaway payments must be made on time according to the agreed upon schedule at the time of purchase. If any layaway payments are not received by us in a timely fashion without prior approval, we reserve the right to terminate the layaway transaction and to re-list the item or items for sale without any further obligation to the buyer. Any layaway payments made by the defaulting buyer will be forfeited to the seller-no exceptions.


If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, we will return your purchase price. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs. Signature confirmation & insurance is required on all shipment returns. If a return is damaged in shipping and is not insured, the buyer will not receive a refund. Buyer must contact us within 3 days of receipt to arrange for a return and return the item in it's original packaging.

Restocking Fee:
We do not charge a restocking fee* for returned items. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and if you decide to return it, we want you to be satisfied with our service.

*There will be a 15% restocking fee for all layaway items only. All layaway items returned (in accordance with Ruby Lane's & the Seller's Return Policy) will only be eligible for an in-shop credit toward future purchases. Absolutely no monetary refunds will be made for any returned Layaway items or for replacement items purchased with layaway item shop credits.
