Pottery : Salt & Pepper Shakers

 

Lovely pair of pottery salt and pepper shakers, with pretty yellow roses and green leaves. These are most likely by Universal Cambridge, but we're not absolutely sure as they are not marked. These round shakers make a beautiful presentation, they have no chips, cracks, or hairlines, and surprisingly, no crazing either. They are missing their corks. The pepper shaker has four holes, the salt shaker has six. They stand 3" tall and are absolutely beautiful, with a shiny, lustrous glaze. Circa 1950's.
