Gorgeous RS Prussia Art Nouveau porcelain match safe. Beautifully molded match holder with striker on bottom. Embossed flowers with sponged gold highlights and beautiful green shading. Delicate pink and green flowers with raised white enamel. Unmarked, but guaranteed to be RS Prussia. This is RS Prussia OM (old mold) 162. Measures 4 1/4" tall, 2 1/4" wide. Has two pierced, molded holes for hanging. Written on the back in pencil, "Hattie, for your room." Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Circa 1890.
