Gorgeous, large antique porcelain charger hand painted with luscious pink and yellow tea roses, green leaves, and plump rosebuds against a muted blue and lavender backround. The scalloped Rococo edge is heavily painted with scrolling gold work. This beautiful nineteenth century masterpiece is proudly signed by the artist, D. R. Wolf. The piece is unmarked, but likely a Limoges or Bavaria blank. The charger measures 12" in diameter and is in very good condition, with no wear to the painting and none to the gold. There is a shallow chip on the back of the charger, (please see next to last photo) which does not show when the piece is displayed. Circa 1890.
