Eight fabulous Limoges handpainted dinner plates, signed by French Limoges artist, FB Hall, a pseudonym of famous Limoges listed artist, Esther Miler. The plates are in pristine condition, with Miler's signature pink roses. The pink tea roses are exquisitely painted against a beautiful pastel blue backround with pink highlights and fat, ripe rosebuds with white tea roses sprinkled in. The plates have beautifully scalloped rims painted gold. Each plate is signed by Hall and marked Limoges, France. They measures 8 1/2" in diameter and all are in excellent, pristine condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. A rare and very wonderful find, this complete, matching set is a real jewel. Circa 1900.
