Superb vintage Hayward gold filled taille d'epargne hinged bracelet in it's original presentation box. Velvet fitted presentation box with delicate mother-of-pearl push button clasp. The interior is silk and velvet lined and is stamped Est'd 1884 O.C. Kraehmer Jeweler - Optician Galena, Illinois. The bracelet is a fabulous taille d'epargne gold filled hinged bangle, with push button clasp and safety chain. The design features a beautiful Art Nouveau flower framed by scrolling cartouches and flowing, engraved Fleur de Lis motif, alternating with gorgeous engraved fans against a gold textured backround. The clasp is marked Hayward 120/10K Gold Filled. The bracelet measures 2 1/2" to the outside diameter and is in excellent condition with no damage, dents or dings. There is one tiny spot of wear on the black enamel tracery just to the left of the flower, hardly noticeable. The clasp and hinge work perfectly. The bracelet is substantial in weight, this is a fine, quality piece. The fitted presentation box is in good condition, with charming, age appropriate wear in spots. An exquisite Victorian adornment, circa 1900.
