These are stunning, the perfect gift, you can't go wrong with this exquisite pair of American Brilliant intaglio cut whiskey glasses. Elegant glasses with such quality and fine engraving, they look like they could easily have been made by Tuthill. This pair of cordials have the flowing, superbly cut details Tuthill was famous for. We don't know that Tuthill made this pattern, but the workmanship is apparent in the photos. Finely cut and intricately detailed with an outstanding floral motif of elaborate thistles nestled among gorgeous, trailing leaves. A special added touch of elegance are garlands of intricately cut leaves around the stemmed base of each piece. These ring clear as a bell with a truly wonderful resonance, both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Each stands 4 1/8" tall, the diameter of the rim is 2", the bases measure 2 1/8" in diameter. American Brilliant period, circa 1905.
