Simply over the top Victorian Revival mirror in a sunburst design with eight portraits, produced by Cameo Creations. The center mirror is a convex, or bullet mirror, reflecting panoramic views. The portrait prints are all of French queens or aristocracy, we don't recognize them all, but there is Princess Lamballe, Marie Antoinette, Countess Vigee LaBrun, Queen Josephine, and Madame Pompadour, plus three more portraits. Pristine condition, taken right off the wall it had been hanging on from since at least 1950, this piece has never been offered since it's original purchase. The mirror has just the slightest hint of only the beginnings of silvering in one spot. The entire piece measures 15 1/2 inches in diameter, impressive enough to make a lovely display on your wall, and functional too. The mirror by itself measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter, and each portrait is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Ready to hang and enjoy, Cameo Creations are more popular than ever, made starting in the 1940's to the 1960's, and this is one of their best and most elaborate pieces ever produced. It's sensational, but was difficult to photograph, what with the glare of eight portraits under glass and the mirror.
