Rare Jay Feinberg aka Strongwater Necklace

Most people are familiar with the stunning art objects made by Jay Strongwater and sold in high end stores across the country. However, many people don't realize that before those objects, Strongwater marketed a line of jewelry under his own name which is Feinberg. He only made it for a short time in the early 1980's and it is rare and hard to come by today. This necklace is typical of his over-the-top style. It consists of double heavy chains in a choker style, and has a gorgeous enameled flower design in the front. The necklace is gold toned metal and is 15" long with a heavy hook style closure. Together the chains are 1" wide. The enameled flower is 2 1/4" in diameter and is centered with a lovely luminous bronze cabochon. The necklace is in excellent condition with no problems, and it is marked as shown on both ends of the clasp.
