This is a beautiful example of an old celluloid necklace, likely from the late 1930's. It is 16" long and it has light pastel colored celluloid flowers and leaves all around the front and sides. Each flower has a celluloid bead in the center and the colors are just perfect for spring and summer. The flowers and leaves made it approximately 2" wide and the chain is celluloid links. It is in good condition - all the flowers and leaves appear to be present and original. I do not think the clasp is original, although it is celluloid also. There are no marks on the necklace.
