This cameo set has the look of the real thing - gold filled and the cameos look carved. I am not an expert on cameos, thought, so I can't guarantee that. I can only tell you, they are not plastic. The necklace is a lavalier on a long chain. The motif is circles, plain and fancy, and the cameo is at the bottom. The bracelet echoes the design and has a cameo in the middle.
