Ornate Antique Foliate 6 Light Chandelier with Carnival Glass Shades - Chain or Flush Mount

For your consideration is this Very Fine Antique 6 Light Hanging Fixture with Carnival Glass Shades. We would imagine this was made between around 1915 or so. Made of very heavy stamped brass with an Ornate cast brass or bronze central band, and ornate foliate ornaments over the shades. At the bottom is a fancy, ribbed cast bronze or brass cap with a Handel style finial. The finish is all original and in very good condition. Has some minor wear, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this great chandelier (the spots seen around the bottom side of the fixture, above the sockets are shadows from the lighting below, not stains). Currently chain hanging, but we could easily convert this to a proper flush mount fixture by removing everything above the dotted line shown in photo #4, and adding proper hardware. All of the paneled Nu-Art (made by Imperial Glass) carnival shades are in great condition. Perfect for Victorian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau and many other decor styles. Cleaned, fully rewired and ready to hang (if you need this flush mount, let us know and it will be ready to hang as well).

Measures 28"L as shown, 24-1/2"L with only one link of chain, about 18"L without chain and canopy and no shades, and only 17"L as flush mount, 19-1/2"W as shown, and 18-1/2"W without shades. Weighs about 13 pounds.

Will ship in the USA via FedEx in a 25" cube box @ 22 pounds, and international will likely require disassembly.
