Here's a nice British biscuit tin which held Joybells assorted biscuits back in the early 1950's. A lovely oval shape, it's a bit over 11" long and 6" wide, standing 3" tall. The lift off lid shows a super old time coaching scene, the Royal Mail stage stopping at an inn to change horses. The colors are warm and soft, giving it the look of an old painting. A few scratches here and there do not detract from the fabulous scene. A nice large tin that displays beautifully.
