Such a beautiful old lithograph here, dating to the early 1900's, and wonderfully framed as well. A young woman in a red riding habit rests her cheek on her horse's withers, while he has a drink from the water trough. At her feet, her Saint Bernard gazes at her adoringly. They've obviously been out for a morning canter, the wooded path shows an autumn scene, with the leaves changing and falling. The frame is a dark wood, with an outer rope edge accented with gold, and an inner beaded border. Double matted, the print measures 17" by 15", and it's in lovely condition, with just a bit of wear to the frame. A stunning antique lithograph of an equestrienne and her companions.
